This simulation shows the use of rhinoceros+grasshopper to drive the movement of 6 axis robotic arm. When machining the nearside surface, gimbal lock problem is encountered. By introducing a 7th axis, this problem is avoided.

This system is most suitable in conjunction with a single surface model. It can however be adapted to handle polusurfaces
