These poor little marmosets are in for sale in this Shinsaibashi pet store. Their faces seem so human! See photos here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/koalawrangler/tags/marmoset/

  • K fact about monkeys- when in a good home are just as happy as in the wild

-They must have a tone of attention, im no expert but i know in my heart that some monkeys have had great lives living with a human being

  • @8010cookie You said it yourself, you're no expert, so how your 'heart' feels has nothing to do with it. Wildlife experts would disagree with you.

  • If not for human owned pets many animals would be extinct....

The condor would not have survived without captive breeding by humans.

Don't be so foolish, many animals much enjoy their human companions and life style. They should have room to run during the day and constant attention, other than that.... they're happy to be our friends for life.

  • @05TurboS2K Captive breeding by zoos and other animal experts not random fools off the street looking for an exotic pet.

  • Definitely, somebody with the right training could take care of that monkey; with that said, do you think that the pet store owners match that criteria? Or how about your average pet store shopper? The people who know how to raise them are buying them from humane breeders, not pet stores, and there's a reason for that. That pacing monkey exhibited classic behavior of an animal with phsycological problems due to inadequate mental stimulation, and poor environment.

  • All animals are wild even dogs and cats. Dogs can be trained because their brain takes in knowledge from others that is why they can be trained so fast. Now cats are more stubborn they don't like to take in knowledge so that's why most cats are not trained. All animals brains work differently that's why we have exotic zoos so the common people can come in and see how they act, react, and adapt in there habitat. Now why isn't there dogs or cats in those zoos. Well because people don't want to go

  • great viedo btw

  • @koalawrangler its cruel if i had the money and time i would buy them out of that cage

  • Poor monkeys :(

  • hey,do u know how much they cost in osaka japan?

  • You sure that aint a japanese restaurant ? Any animal in a cage is tragic imo.

  • ok everyone is having a demostic about the keeping of marmosets, and in my opinion I do think that all wild animals should stay wild but think that if we didnt keep them and breed them then alot of these wild animals would be gone. i personaly have 6 marmosets living with me all bottle fed and brought up in my home every day I take them for an 3 hour run in the local woods and they really love it but once it is time to go i shout them n they come running. they are really happy mike
