@sclock2 the elephants are actually taught to do that by lots and lots of repetition and people guiding their trunks, They don't actually know what they're doing, they just draw the shape they were taught.

Wow it actually kind of makes monkey's look a little dumb since there is a video of an elephant painting a self portrait and this monkey just smears paint and eat it. Heck there's a video of a guitar painting a self portrait. A guitar is smarter than a monkey. Oh well I still like monkey's they're cool.
