the Typhoon is actually the best multirole fighter in the world, it is much more upgradable than F22, the F22 is just now at best, the advantage of stealth capability is not much important in a war scene like much people wanna make believe. The Typhoon with the new aesa radar and maybe with the thrust vectoring system of ej200 engines will be without doubt one step forward than F22, SU 35 and SU 50 PAK-FA.

@TPS996 except f-15s. as proven at red flag in 09 when 2 squadrons of f-15's flew opposing 2 squadrons of typhoons and 1 squadron of f-16's simultaneously. all 3 opposing squads were spanish and the f-15s were israeli.

america and the UK and russia with airpower are like average kids ,, america is the fat greedy one who gets what he wants and doesnt know how to use it properly , the UK gets what hes given and uses it properly to create airpower , russia are the poor type who manage to get hold of a weak aircraft and make it good ,go RAF !

I think the jets from different regions are very distinct, both in appearance and design approach. Russia's fighters: inexpensive, very effective, twin engines & II tails. America's fighters: high-tech, modern design, twin-angled tails (minus f-16).I've noticed that many of Europe's fighter aircraft have assumed a more majority delta-wing design. I forget the design name where a plane has no separate tail section, just rudder and wing control surfaces. eg: mirage, Ef- 2000, Gripen. <3 AIRPOWER
