@MaySins I have rewatched the movie in the time since I commented and while I still have a hard time liking it as compared to the anime or the manga, I find I DO enjoy a lot of it as long as I DON'T compare it. You're right, this depicted homosexuality in a happy, positive way and I think we do need to see more of this. <3

@MaySins You know, there's a whole genre of anime and manga where homosexuality features prominently and is usually portrayed positively. If you like Antique Bakery for that reason, there's a lot more where that came from.

@IwakiKatouLuver I love the movie. It very much depicted the homosexuality in a happy way, instead of the sad, suicidal way that society viewed it.
