Buck Owens was such a great singer that I couldn't refrain from remembering him here . There is only one image but the sound is good. I have noticed that there are plenty of videos with rich images but with poor sound . As to me , I prefer the sound. My ears ar better than my eyes .

  • Great music, but, his picture looks like he's 'bout to be jumped by a Yehti

  • Lead Man...Buck taught Don how to play the "Bakersfield" sound which is the sound Buck was trying to achieve...When they met in Washington, Don was playing guitar as a second instrument and Fiddle as first. Don actually used Buck's Tele to learn on. Dad hung with them and Merle H. [he played with Buck for a while] till they went big and was traveling all the time. Buck was a killer guitar player in his own right.

  • chuck22348 THATS NOT FAIR!!!!!!!

  • Hi, folks. Back in 1966, I took my best girl (at the time) to see Buck and the Buckaroos at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois. Then, on March 5th, 1967, I was sharing the stage with Buck Owens and the Buckaroos, George Jones, Dick Curliss, and a few others. AND! I have the 8 X 10 photos to prove it. Between shows, there was no place to go, so we hung out back stage. Buck and the Buckaroos treated me like I was a member of the band. chuck2234
