  • i have 3 1 litre glass bernardin mason jars used for canning things, like fruit or something for long periods of time.. i was just wondering, if i combine all 3 together to make one big nest.. would that be okay? ive never done this before so any feed back will be helpful!!!

  • best nest evermade

  • Good job kababayan.

  • i had three queens one time but they all got away my house was rich with them

but most of em died from spider i saved one but let her go i felt it was the right thing to do

  • ants really look like interesting creatures they make there homes by tunneling through the ground they actually fight against other ants (i actually saw them do this before when i was 7 or 8 they tried strangling each other by rolling on the ground) also they even take care of there injured comrades (i once saw 2 ants pick up an either dead(probably) or harmed ant and they draged the ant away

  • Where do I buy Pumice stone??? The only pumice stone I can find are those bathtub things to scrape dry skin off of your feet.

  • @AntsCanada or anybody who can answer me.

I found the queen ant of a very small nest (Only about 100 to 150 worker) under a large rock. I captured the queen and about 50 or so workers into a bottle. When I got in side I noticed that some of the workers would crawl onto the queen and she would roll around like she was being attack. I quickly moved the queen into a separate test tube. Why were the workers attacking their queen. Did I accidentally capture ants from another colony? The queen is OK

  • so where is the the new nest conccted to the outworld or new nest
