Created on June 16, 2009 by John Chase using FlipShare. When pinched for time, this is a nice, scenic 40 minute ride from Knode Ranch, out onto HWY 335 and past the Powder Horn, to Big Horn and around the Big Horn Loop starting on Brinton Road and back. It's a ride through some amazing scenery and history. This was Crazy Horse's home. It has the preferred "watering holes" like The Last Chance Bar and The Bozeman Trail Inn, plus Little Goose Creek parallels Brinton Road and it takes you by the historic Gallatin Ranch (home of the old Circle V- at one time the largest polo pony breeding operation in the world), the Bradford Brinton Museum and the historic Polo Ranch. It's all in "Where the Rivers Run North" by Sam Morton.
