Dolly Parton -- The Lost Tape -- 1979 concert at her old high school Part 1

Found this in storage after 30 years. October 6, 1979, the same day she attended the dedication of the Dolly Parton Parkway.

Her family was there, including her daddy and grandpa. Her daddy was working the t-shirt stand for something to do, but said "hush" to us when we spoke to him--he didn't want anyone to know who he was so he wouldn't get mobbed by people.

If there's any interest, I'll upload the rest of the concert.

Recorded on a Panasonic industrial VHS camera and recorder.

This is great ! Her band Gypsy Fever was also great (that was Greg Perry on piano). I don't think I've seen her perform "Star of the Show" from her "Great Balls of Fire" album ..... awesome.... Did she also perform "You're the Only One" that night?
