I decided to keep my subscription to Newsweek when they announced going digital. I don't have a tablet (I'm waiting for actual ones to emerge) but I have to say I'm quite happy with the format on pc, heavily touchscreen-oriented or not. They've elegantly incorporated audio and video. Sadly, the kindle version is not an alternative, since it even lacks images (eventhough an e-ink device can show impressive grayscale). I do need pictures to enjoy the shallow tourism articles, you know

I'm ashamed everytime I read my town newspaper I find at least 3 mistakes. Every time. It's not like they have a hard job. Most of their stories are written by others like the AP.

I read novels and non fiction books the only magazines I read are hobby related.

I like magazines I tried the newstand app on iPhone and it was a piece of crap. I don't have a Kindle so I just get magazines.

I'm a 'The Economist' type of guy; at least until the fall of the markets, the financial system, the government, and society. Then I'll be more of a scurrying and foraging for nuts, like the squirrels, kind of guy.

I will NEVER use an e-reader or an iPad to read books. Period. I'm in my mid-twenties so at least the future will still have people like me to support print.

Everyone should read the New York Review of Books.

I am a high schooler that really doesn't read magazines anymore. I only get magazines for the pictures (Vogue, National Geographic, etc. ). A majority of the information that I get today is from youtube videos. I watch the New york times videos, documentaries, and listen to podcasts. I believe that magazines offer a unique experience into specialized subjects, but are ultimately a dying form of media within my own generation.
