Singapore Botanic Gardens

Botanic Gradens in Singapore festablished in 1859 is located in Tanglin area. Newly opened MRT station on the back of the gardens allows easy access to this garden. From the station one has to walk through the park to reach the main entrance at the Holland Road. The gardens on weekends is bit crowed: Some scenes which I noticed at the gardens: Indians playing cricket, expatriates and locals jogging with families, some taking their dogs for walk, parents pushing the children on the prams, many lying down on the grass and reading books, couples having quiet time, group of people playing catching ball game, families lying down in the grounds, children feeding the fish and ducks, tourist and maids taking photographs, newly-wed with wedding dresses taking memorable photographs, some enjoying in the Gardens resturants, miniwater falls making mind-calming effects and overall the place is for everyone. There were many specialised gardens, Ginger Gardens, Orchid Gardens, Healthy Garden, Children Garden etc.
