Snow - Glidecam HD-1000 & Sony HDR-XR500

Well, I recorded this with my sony camcorder.
My Glidecam is not yet perfect calibrated and it was a little bit windy that day. I'm learning using the stabilisator.
Color Correction done in After Effects CS4, cutting in Premiere Pro CS4.
The start sequence with the clouds was done in 3ds max.

If you use a rubberband the rotation will be better

@AndiGutten no, you cannot apply the rubberband trick to steadycam operations.

The Rotation is controlled with 2 fingers on the middle part of the glidecam.

if you'd add a rubber band to that, it will disable you to make precise rotation moves.

You can't add the rubber band to any other part of the steadycam cause those are used to balance the camera - any manipulation would cause in a un-steady shot.

Very nice montage! I'm waiting for delivery of my Glidecam hd 1000 at the moment and look forward to trying it out. I noticed the slight roll on the turns, does that go away once you get the setup right?
