I wrote this song as a birthday present for my mother while I was far away from my home Malaysia while in USA pursuing my dreams to be a songwriter while completing my graduate studies at Northern Illinois University. I have difficulty in expressing myself to my mother and felt that expressing through a song was the best way I could let her know that I remember everything she had done for me although I am far away, how much she has helped me whether she realizes it and that I love her.
