You mentioned that you might plant Alfalfa next year. I remember the smell of freshly cut alfalfa during my childhood. That is one of the best memories ever! We moved from the farm when I was 12 years old, but it was one of the best memories of my life!

how does the second set of dam gates work? is the wheel connected to the gate through shaft and chain or what?

@wagner59270 i figured that much. its raining here now just a little we are applying nitrogen on hay now to so its a good thing.
