  • excellent. thanks for uploading.

  • My pleasure!

  • WOW ! Different from the version played in Philly, but I like them both.

  • Is this the "album version"?

  • This version is closer to the album version than the Philly version. (Have you listened to it ?)

But as someone wrote, it misses the beautiful harmonica heard on the studio version.

  • I haven't heard the Philly version yet. Thanks for that info - I'm not very familiar with the song as you might have guessed, but I'll be getting very familiar with it soon.

My personal fav that night was Drive All Night, amazing.

  • My favorite Boss song. Love Little Steven's harmonizing here.

  • @BrunoLeBoss I miss the harmonica too, but this version is still awesome... completely jealous I missed out on the experience to see Price You Pay played live. Hopefully he'll play it more often now!

  • I was at this show - among the best, if not the best of the more than 250 I've seen over 35 years. "River" was always my favorite album of his - I wonder if Bruce was pleasantly surprised at this show by how many fans were singing along to 'price you pay', 'crush on you', and 'I wanna marry you' and other gems not nearly as well known as 'Hungry heart" (Which I always thought was an ok song but one of the weakest and definitely most-overplayed songs on the album and in concert)

  • @djmcg07 I couldn't agree more. Seeing Bruce, for me, is one of life's grandest experiences, certainly the best among those that don't involve my family.

I think our lives are defined by experiences like these. It's not just the three hours of the show, or the months of anticipation, or the excitement of awaking the morning of a show, and the build-up as it get's closer and closer to when those lights down.

It's the memory that changes you for the better for the rest of your life.

  • LOVE this song.. LOVE Bruce!

  • The Price I Payed was over $350 for my ticket to hear Bruce sing this live...the experience..priceless.

  • No harmonica in this version.

    An absolute masterpiece. Epic.
