Land of Hope and Glory is used as the national anthem of England in the Commonwealth Games and some other sporting events. The song was used by the English rugby league team for the national anthem until 2005.

i think its sad on the last day of term at my school no one knew the words only me. We were ment to sing it and it ended up me singing it at the top of my voice and getting a huge round of applse from every one they had all sat down and i was still standing singing
