This wonderful little piece of music was composed by Craig Robertson, it's also known as "Best Ukulele Song..."
Listen to his version

It's a song that stirred up quite some interest if you check out the "related video's"

I personalised the song and made some changes : I added two sections, changed the end tag and raised the tempo a bit.

Since I live too far away from the beach...I had to settle with a recording in the veranda, but with some beach attires...

You can find tab for Craig's version at Dominator's site

  • Too fast.

  • You're entitled to your opinion of course but I raised the tempo on purpose; the sections I added sound better this way.

  • Delightful. What is the tuning of your instrument? Is it the old "My dog has fleas" tuning that I learned as a child?

  • Thanks, and indeed, dog has fleas.

  • wow. that was really good. I liked the fast tempo.

  • beautifull version

  • Wow carl i didn't know that you are rich LOL

  • far to rushed more like, the timeing is all over the shop at the start, still good though.

  • as always is amazing seeing u playing! dont ever stop posting videos, and keep on the nice creativity u have to make ur videos

  • The added sections sound fine at that tempo, but the original sections sound jumbled compared to the original tempo.

  • impressive picking!

  • I 've tried to play this piece but I have difficulties to get the bounce. I don't know but I'm sure I will be more comfortable with the way you play it.

Anyway it's a beautifull contribution to a mlovely song!
