Some months ago I made this first walking armature test. It's not perfect as you can see but perhaps funny to watch?
The flicker you see is of my TV set playing in the background.

can you tell me what the common type of clay to use for claymation? and what type of wire or whatever the skeleton was made out of do u use?

Nice video. Everyone starts with tests, but this character has a curious personality. Hard to depict in 1 minute. Try to use wooden blocks for the feet. That way you can use a bolt and wing nut to anchor the feet. Also use a reference. Film yourself as the character acting out the motions and try to animate to your own timing. What kind of wire were you using?
