This is a video showing the laminar vortex shedding past a circular cylinder at Re=100. The positive and negative vorticities (shown in two different colours) alternately shedding from the cylinder forming the "Von Karman vortex street" is clearly visible.
The simulation is carried out using an inhouse developed unsteady solver at Indian Institute of Science.
