@Shameemw. It's me again! I Googled the problem and seems it may be because power cable was connected. But I had to connect or the light wouldn't blink on device in ordert o get it into DFU mode. I could only do this with power cable. So now, I disconnected power and went over restore again! Apple TV has now gone through restore many times. Problem is new problem is error 1604. Help!

Hi, thanx a lot for this walk-thru video :) The only problem is that I've tried it so many times now, and when I get to stage 06:21 on your video... restoring on iTunes, I ALWAYS get an error 1602 after about 5 mins into restoring :'-(( Please advise me on how to get around this, I'd really appreciate it. Btw.. I'm not a teenage computer whizz boy - I'm a widow/grandmother, so not born with a mouse in my hand ;)

hey when i connect my usb and press the play/pause and menu button for 7 seconds nothing happends...? the device doesnt enter DFU mode... dont understand why?? HELP ME PLZZ!

@jzo101 its ok, put your Power cord + USB and try to go to DFU mode

hey can u help me out, i bought an apple tv2 and its 4.3 i jailbroke it using season pass, but i cant get xbmx on it! i tried to ssh using the wiki and other videos but everytime i try to install something from a repo it fails.
maybe all the ssh links are dead? because they are all from early this year

@jee187 you said it your self, you used wiki, to install i changed a few things to make it work and no dead links

@jzo101 1602 means you have more then one iDevice hooked up to your PC take out the other device whatever it is iPod or iPAD or iPhone just connect your AppleTV 2 and try again
