I still remember holding the throttle wide open and shifting gears w/ out lifting. When the bike was running, it ran like a BOOH!, but it seems like it was broken down alot, mainly trying to keep it in tune. I enede up trading it for a rebuilt Chevy 283 for my 55 Chevy truck when I started driving.

I had one of these back in about 83 til 88 or so, til I outgrew it. It blew all my friends 4 strokes away. It had a broken rear fender when I bought it at a garage sale. I bought a new one and let a friend, who was smaller than me ride it. I figured out why the fender was broken off. I told him it would wheelie in first, soi he took it easy , then hit second and cranked the throttle wide open, and it flipped over backward. It had never done this w./ me, since I was heavier.
