it was the "quick do something manly" part that probably angered people, as it implies that being gay, or committing a gay act negates masculinity. I understand why people would be upset. I did think it was hilarious though, and the actors did a great job. :)

I think it's quite funny, and certainly not homophobic at all. Those guys seem to be responding in a stereotypically straight fashion, but otherwise aren't all that negatively impacted by the kiss.
