For all the hoopla with this so-called "gay" romance between Adam and Rafe and the return of gay Phillip, Y & R is a poor depiction of same. They don't even have the courage to show any affection on screen between the male characters. Say what you will about Nuke on ATWT, but at least they have the fortitude to show Luke and Noah exchange kisses. Y & R has falied miserably to try and up their ratings with their phony gay storylines.

Few things shock me on Y&R, but Victor's reaction to Adam's sexuality FLOORED me.

The original Actor who played Jack Abbott, Terry Lester was equally as good but this "new Jack who has been playing Jack Abbott for the past 20 yrs" doesnt have the "bite" that Lester brought to the character... I remember they called him the JR Ewing of daytime.. TV's best Villain will always be JR Ewing hands down. Victor is a far 2nd in the best Villain category..

Victor is awesome I Remember when he first appeared on the show and he was a bastard then and its good to finally start watching again and see he really hasnt changed much and that Eric Braeden has portrayed him so well these past 30 years. Victor never wimped out or stopped being the kind of Villain you can love to Hate. Most Men usually get more wimpy as time goes on but Victor is da man!

Damn some shows have seriously got to catch up with the rest of the world.

I can *maybe* understand not wanting to show on-screen kiss (until later), but cutting DIALOGUE? She couldn't even tell Victor, "I saw Adam kissing Rafe."

On the other hand, since Adam was merely manipulating Rafe, same-sex affection would have been represented badly.
