If it's all about the Biblical texts, what about the parts of the Bible that Sam talks about? What about Numbers Chapter 31? or Deuteronomy Chapter 13? How does reading about Genocide or killing family members bring us closer to this all-loving God?

Ok I've watched 3 of your videos now and I realize that you haven't read the old testament or chose to ignore it and just say "focus on Jesus" well u can't.

That's like saying my father was a good man because he saved ten men in war, oh and he also tortured 42 kids but don't worry about that.

Jesus built no walls, owned no slaves, carried no weapons, never suggested anyone start a war, was not a capitaist, facist or socialist, did not want to be a politician, did not marry nor raise a family, did not pay taxes, didn't wear a white collar, didn't serve on jury duty, didn't protest, judged no one, healed and feed anyone, etc....yet, people have gone against all these teachings, and in the name of God. It's not God that is the problem. It's the minds of men ignoring Jesus' teachings.

Fact1:Science und human rights were not invented by the Bible - they were developed long before and had to be refined and forced further against christians position of power.There's no need to quote all the atrocitities ordered by god to Mose, Josua, Elia ... in the OT,it suffices that even in the NT God has not really changed (outdated sexual moral, dispicable gender roles, eternal torments for sins committed in a non eternal life) to see that the ethics of the god of the Bible are of no use.

Fact2: I've read the bible: Thousands murdered, killed, raped in the name of god. Thousands killed in the 'Flood', thousand burnt in the hell, thousands languishing in the purgortory ... only a few will see heaven ... a god, who created us with original sin and then had to send Jesus to correct his mistake? No thanks.
