Gundam VS Gundam - RX-79[G] (Ground Gundam) VS 2 Impulses

As the title says.

This is an interesting battle. It shows the particular limitation of the Impulse as far as offensive options go. It also has me doing no melee attacks; I'd do it, but my controller is slightly shot, and sometimes moves forward or to the left on its own, as seen in 1:18. So I played it safe.

This time around, I use Ground Gundam as a faster Guntank, making use if its nice batch of Mobile Assists along with primarily the 180mm cannon, which has superb tracking. Not as good as Guntank's main cannons, but Ground Gundam is faster and reloads instantly with the press of a button. It is also more versatile as far as weapons and weapon effects go, plus melee attacks.

I'll be posting another vid with an AI RX-79[G] ally as well.

This one's for the PSP. You might be able to grab a copy from PlayAsia or some of the other online import shops. 'Other means' are also possible if you have a modded PSP.

You also might want to check out the sequel, Gundam VS Gundam NEXT PLUS, also for the PSP. It's vastly improved and very satisfying.

i rly like using this ms, it has a manual reload and doesnt consume much gp.

an effective strat with this ms is to spam the enemy with the machine gun while dodging. if the enemy gets hit, it will stagger then feed it with a barrage of missiles. LOL

Cancels like that will incur a 50% damage penalty.

I'd rather hit with just the missiles solo, but you can do that if you want to quickly cut into someone's attack and down them.

Yes! I used to play FvsZ as well, and RX-79[G] was one of my all-time favorites. You could say I got interested in 8th MS Team because of it.

I liked the 180mm Cannon and the BR configurations for the [G]...I don't like MGs too much since I'm always gunning for S Ranks; accuracy was a part so even just one bullet miss means goodbye S Rank. :(
