Interview of Former President of Huay Namkhao Camp

Cheu Heu Vang, former President of Houay Namkhao Camp was among the Leaders who have been handed over to Laos on 22 June 2008 among the group of 837 illegal hmong migrants from Thailand. He is now living in Vangvieng district, Vientiane province as a free citizen.

We just came back from the northern part of Laos where we handed over
a part of illegal hmong migrants to local authorities and interviewed
them of how they were happy to see their hometown, birth place and
long time missing relatives.

ZaajLaug, I understand what you mean but we should sent a good luck to them. The solution is we should stop hate each other to make peaceful between Hmong and Lao. I also have an uncle and brother had been force to Lao with this group and family had send over $3,000 to buy farm and house for them. I hope that Lao government will take good care of the return Hmong refugees as their citizen. Only do a good thing to make peaceful this world. Don't make a difference to live in which country in world, if the government in that country treat equally to their own citizen. The treat equally will avoid all the violent in that country. I hope that one day Lao govenment will open the door and give equal opportunaties to everyone to come and develop the country. I really wan to see that day.

LPDR need to help Hmong more and teach them that no matter where they live they will have to work hard and feed themselves. Hmong just can't lie as war refugee and hope to come to the U.S to get free walfare and food stamps.
