As part of CFA's school of visual arts Contemporary Perspectives Lecture Series, Carol Becker, dean of Columbia University's School of the Arts, reads from her most recent book, Thinking in Place: Art, Action, and Cultural Production. A compilation of essays, the book offers a glimpse into the author's background, beginning with her childhood, and describes how various events in her life molded her into the person she is today.
