  • I actually had that idea of mixing my stick drumming with my guitar. Because it has so much musical potential and it's amazing to a fighter's ear and mind. I was gonna do it, until the said stick got stolen.

After seeing this (and most of your CMVs), I actually got the will to rebuy an arcade stick, and really make this hobby a second goal with more care this time.

So thanks Desk, for making an awesome drumming video and making me get back to the most amazing community ever. :P

  • @DarkWindPT That's awesome man. Really sucks that you lost your stick but I'm happy you haven't lost faith! lol. I think I'm going to keep making stuff like this too so it'll be great to see someone else's take on it. Good luck and let me know if/when you make any vids :)

  • Desk, if you made a full song consisting of just you having a bass jam session with some "arcade stick drumming", you would probably be able to sell it to your fans. The sound of those buttons is music to any fighter's ears.

  • @MechaMugen Hey man, I've really never thought seriously about doing that but it's a pretty awesome idea actually. If I can find a good way to mic up my Chun SE I might see if I can do a few tracks. Thanks dude.

  • @biffotasty this may sound like a dumb question but the hori real arcade stick @ 01:09-01:15 do you stll use it if so whats the key difference with that and your usual sf4 stick? #FUCKiNGAWESOMESIR

  • @gmoolah804 It's a PS2 stick and I don't use it at all anymore because I have a dedicated next-gen stick now and using it through a converter is never 100% accurate. It is awesome for PS2 games though, I've won a bunch of tournaments using that stick, lol. I just never play my PS2 anymore.

  • That is just beautiful. I need to convert my fight-stick to a midi-controller :)

  • goddamn you get a clean sound from those fret taps

  • this dude must be good a finger banging chicks

  • i think you can play rhythm games very well

  • I dont get it

  • At first, I was like "Sticks can't be used to make music. The sound on a button push is not loud enough."

    I was proven WRONG.

  • You mixing up 2 of my favorite things, fighting games and music, just makes me very happy to find a channel like this :)

  • you're bass technique is nasty. how long have you been playing?

  • And I thought Poongko liked to push buttons...

  • Very cool
