This is our property in Virginia Beach about 2 hours before the water reached it's highest point (after dark). In some ways, this is worse than a hurricane. Although there is an upper limit to wind speeds in a nor'easter (gusts at 60 MPH in this case), unlike a hurricane, this type of storm hangs around for days. The ground becomes saturated and more and more trees come down.

  • Great video. I just wish it was over. The dog looks at me like I am crazy when I open the door for him to go out! Stay dry.

  • I know! Our prince and princess MIGHT go out if we hold the umbrella over them. It was so great to see you!

  • MEE TOOO....my power was just turned back on..and i live in ocean view in norfolk...

  • I am glad it is over. I really appreciate your sharing. When we watched the news they only showed the wave action at the oceanfront and none of the "real" problems facing the community.

  • I hope you have life jackets for Karma and Apollo. Now THAT"S a video I'd like to see.

  • Thanks for sharing!
