I'm betting why the wolf fight was cut was that it came off to silly in post production. Some of the wolves cgi in the movie already wasn't rendered that well already. An I think with what they got they didn't want it to come off comical. So the Director made the smart choice to cut the film there. It just sucks they advertised the movie around that fight scene. (probably when they still intended to feature it, but by then it was too late) Which I can understand why some people feel jipped.

@TheAbeTate How could they not insult God? They have been stranded, they are being hunted, they are dying, and God has abandoned them. Take your ignorant views somewhere else, please, this was NOT a movie about bashing Christians, God, or any religion. It was about characters questioning their own faith and morality because of the extremes man will go to to survive.

@cgraef100 Actually an athiest wouldn't take the time to talk to something he or she believes isn't there. We can conclude that he is either a man of previous faith or an agnostic. Athiests don't curse god, they don't acknowledge the concept at all..

Allot of people dont understand the end the purpose of the end was to show even when there is no hope you should never surender even when you are alone maybe mass murdering scene of big ass wolves would make you forget the idea.
