I found the video somewhat interesting... but maybe that's because I was at the 2009 Maryland Deathfest where they filmed it (see large crowd in background during chorus... just a bunch of MDF fans)!

If you close your eyes, the aural scene is "HELL". Mirai has a brilliant knack and artistry and is able to paint images with a cacophony of instrumental arrangemnts and unusual sounds. I agree, Ishikawa-san has a diverse soloing approach. His solos rate right up there with my all time favs. The video and production I'm certain are low budget by design...Black Metal is typically done this way...agree?

I'm sorry, I love both sigh and opeth. But... Opeth is way more progressive and has way more emotion than sigh. No one with a brain could ever argue that. Plus i think this video kinda proves that Japanese people have no emotions. And that they can't make good music videos.

To paraphrase Sigh themselves, there is absolutely nothing strange with their music and certainly nothing stupid about them. Your conscious self is the one that is ill equipped to understand the intricate majesty that is their music. No one should waste their time defending Sigh to inferior biological specimens.
