Most people will never understand how great Tom Watson's achievement was that week at the British Open, even though he came in second. Personally I don't know how anyone will ever eclipse what he did at age 59...It was truly amazing!!!

i just wish he would have won... it killed me he didn't. it kinda hurt that he didnt and i dont even know the guy. it just woulda been somethign special and something i would never forget, and i still wont even tho he didnt. he is the best. i wish i could have five minutes with the guy. just once. pick his brain.

@HawkmanDude Your are a ass yes Tiger is the greatest of this Era, but he is not the Greatest of all time until he wins his 19th major championship. Until then that title goes to the Golden Bear. Tom Watson is a true gentlemen. Who does not swear throw his club or cheat on his wife. I still like Tiger. But Tom Watson is one of the best men on the planet and took his loss last year like a man.
