The Cintiq 21ux sells for $2000 (£1296.94) in the US, but in Europe it's £1600.40 ($2467.98), That's an increase of $467.98 (£303.46).

The Cintiq 24hd sells for $2600 (£1686.02) in the US, but in Europe it's £2066.90 ($3187.37), That's an increase of $587.37 (£380.88).

There is no reason for this ripoff.

@mrgreyblake you're only looking at final cost but you don't know what it cost for the packaging, shipping of the product since it is bigger in the international market where there may be less buyers based in 21ux sales. Considering the way the internet is buy it on a US site and get it shipped or whatever, if it's possible, if cost is really your problem. But then again if you are worried don't get it if it's just for fun. At least it sounds like the possibility.

I was going to get a tablet just for animation & drawing, I didn't think about how useful it would be for photo editing.

@mrgreyblake It's the same with loads of American products, pretty much all Adobe software costs about 1/4-1/3 more in £ than it does in $. That's not even including VAT. I can't find a reason for it, it's disgusting.
