Everyone whos taking shit about the blow dryer, this works. I had the "red ring of death" and my friend fixed it with the blow dryer and some other things that involved things such as sand paper but it worked. The catch is that it will give your console another year of life until it dies completely.

@TheJohnhuhu Yeah True That Bro I Work For A Small Electronic Place In Fresno CA And Thats Basicly What We Do Or Just Use A Custom Heat Sinks They Work Better Got One For Mine With Out Fans Its 40F And With Fans Its 20F So Its Cool As Fuck lol

this is not the way to do it, it may work but you have the chance of damaging it even more... take off the Xclamps and clean out the Thermos paste and the heat sinks as well at the gpu and cpu then put new thermos paste and I recommend to put a slim tiny square piece of aluminum between the heat sink and the gpu and cpu. once your done put everything together and it should work perfectly.
