All politics aside, this is a brilliantly produced documentary. Extremely well made.

This Frontline video fails to mention the huge number of American voters who were telling their Senators and Congressional Reps -- in no uncertain terms -- to vote against the bailout. It's kind of odd. The video does show a few Republicans inveighing against the original bailout on the House floor, and very quickly mentions that over 90 Democrats also voted against it. But the video doesn't mention the voter fury over this issue at all. Weird.

that person that started the rumor screwed us all over!!! If he didnt start the rumor, Bear Stearns wouldnt have went bankrupt. If Bear Stearns didnt go bankrupt, the Government wouldnt have looked at their assets. If the government didnt look at their assets, The mortage crisis wouldnt have unfolded. Wall Street would have continued with business. LOL
