Despite its age. I am willing to bet it's more efficient then a smart car or scion when you break down the work load per ton. There is nothing like scale of efficiency.

@ph11p3540 Thinking about it, if they are only running it occasionally for visitors, it would make sense to run it on diesel, because it would be too much bother to keep all the fuel lines hot enough for heavy oil all the time.

@HasseMcspanky Pretty much none. In a two stroke engine like this, the blower is there primarily to scavenge the cylinder, rather than provide a boost.
