@Potusistheway As Huntertington said, it sounds stupid to belt out those high notes on an acoustic set. Plus, you're very wrong about his voice. I love it. It fits his music so very beautifully. Besides, it's his song, he can do what he wants with it.
I'm so sad that they broke up. :/ I would have killed to see them live.

Well when he sings it full band.. he does.
But he has to shout to get that high.
And it sounds just stupid if you're shouting at an acoustic set.
