The Nasher Museum won a Gold ADDY award in the original music category in the 2009 Triangle ADDY award contest.

The music was created by Duke music instructor Randy Reed for the Nasher Museum's television commercial promoting the exhibition "El Greco to Velázquez: Art During the Reign of Philip III." Jennings Co. of Chapel Hill produced the commercial.

The Triangle ADDY awards annually feature more than 1,000 entries in 75 categories. The contest is sponsored by the Raleigh-Durham chapter of the American Advertising Federation.
