1999 mitsubishi eclipse rs-Intake before and after

this is a video of my eclipse before and after i installed a street tune cold air intake. hope you like it. please comment if you do thanks. the squeeking is the alternator belt. it was loose. but i now have an aem bypass valve that prevents hydrolock.

i cut a small circular hole in the driver side splash shield which was no problem just a quick 5 min circular cut. btw i dnt have this car anymore. i now have a 93 eclipse with a 4g63 engine in it. it makes this eclipse look stupid slow

all i removed was the stock intake piping and the stock intake box. i think it consisted of like 4-6 bolts. but very easy and awesome sound

not anymore. i just added an aem bypass valve. it prevents hydrolocking.

U can put it anywher it fits...but it wont be cold air intake..it b just intake...if u want cold air intake..put closest to the tire..that gives u hp

hey have a few questions i have a 99 eclipse 2.4l and was wondering if i should buy my cold air intake or the short ram intake for easier installation i am not amazing with mechanics yet so im not sure how hard it will be to put it on

@ArmenianProductions oh i know im huge on the looks of cars lol :) i like to take cars people say look like "grandma cars" like my camry and turn it into something everyone would point and say "wow look at that! " lol but what i ment to say is that.. ive seen worse rims ya know? i think those rims look pretty good for being stock.. and i would spend money or a graphics kit or body kit and window tint and spoiler b4 rims

@ArmenianProductions usually i dont like stock rims on any car... but i dont think those eclipse rims look too bad for being stock.. and not everyone has a shit load of money to put into rims.. what do they do? absolutly nothing :) id rather spend my money on a short ram intake.. msd coil.. e3 plugs.. 10.3mm plug wires.. header.. and much more.. rather than rims o.o
