The classic skit from 1975 where Grover (Frank Oz) demonstrates the difference between near and far. This is one of those segments that people always seem to remember clearly, regardless of how many years ago they last saw it.

My cousin who used to watch this when she was younger (she's now in her 30s) in spanish remembers this part haha. (in spanish of course)

This is like the ultimate classic Grover bit. Whenever I think of Grover, the first thing that comes to mind is 'Near......Far.......!' Haven't seen the whole thing in about 25 years, and forgot about the whole 'you still don't understand!?!' thing. Pretty funny! SStreet just isn't as good as it was when we were kids

Sorry, I accidentally deleted the comment asking if Grover is moving or if it's a camera zoom. The answer is that Grover is moving, but due to a trick of perspective he looks like he's running a lot further than Frank Oz is really moving him.
