  • This is KGC engine #1446, an 18 horse, single side geared engine. Built in 1915. Engine is owned by Devin Hart & family, Boonville, IN.

  • @Engineer280 Thanks for adding the information! The wife and I have been coming to the shows at Boonville since 1982, and it is always a joy to be there.

  • dude, it sounds like a little steam locomotive! Still a great thing to see. They both have the same primary working system :D

  • Glad you liked it! Twin cylinder engines sound more like loco. Traction engines are more common, and can operatae without a track, so steam shows are spread all over the country.

  • What engine # is this? I was at the Boonville show in 2003 and don't remember her.... Can you give an owners name and city for our archives?

    Thanks! Jeff Keck #1786
