I know, but its not haunting. Its lonesome, like all whistles are. A haunting whistle is like Mason County Logging Co. #7's on the first weekend of Steamfest last year. when you'd hear it back in the canyon, it gave me goosebumps!

What a GREAT video... I LOVE how the whistle sounds now... it gives me goosebumps!! It's also really cool to see such cool new stuff going on at Railtown... #3 running and sounding great, the refurbished car and them running a caboose! Wow, I really need to move up there...

There is no other refurbished car in the train besides #7 caboose. The #14 had a wheel set changed out but that's all. One major new thing for the railfans next year is the #2's whistle (people call it the high pitched "Chinese" whistle) is being switched for a brand new Southern Railway 3 chime! I CAN'T wait to hear it in a couple months!!! Thanks for the comment! And when I heard that first whistle out of the yard to the crossings, I slowly started to look amazed at how it sounded!
