@SpoonRiverProject It is called AMATEUR DRAMATICS. Young people attempting all sorts of different roles, ages, class and accents AWAY FROM THE CRITICS is one of the best ways they learn to gain confidence, experience, learn their craft and develop into the stars of tomorrow. AM-DRAM, is not professional theatre and 'perfect casting' is not the point at all. Surely as an 'acting teacher' you should be most aware of this. And I have seen worse performances by actors WITH 'life experience'

This kid needs to learn how to project his voice, and stop screaming. Otherwise he's going to lose his voice. Just awful.

I think the guy did a respectful job- you can tell he watched the movie and took time to appreciate the scenes and their details. He seems to have some of the fire Marlon had. good job!

@SpoonRiverProject Oh I have no idea...I live in London and there was this theatre production starring Rachiel Weiz and Elliot cowan which I so wanted to watch but I was about a year late, it must have been brilliant Elliot is such a good actor...maybe Bugsy Malone would have been a better choice for them;)

It's a very bad choice for a school play. They are good actors.... it's a bad choice. I teach acting and this is just wrong. What school is this anyway? Just curious.

I don't like blanche, the scene where she is shouting is not a ' crazy , dazed ' shoting and screaming. its more of a ' strop '
I can see how people say that he is acting too much like Brando......but I enjoy it. I think his acting is great. Perhaps he should have made the character more his own, but I kind of like the way his voice/dialect/whatever you want to call it sounds.
