Here is a fantastic 6.1 Mile hike experience through Pinnacles National Monument in Central California. The experience was on August 2, 2009, which was an unusually cool summer day. I started up the Condor Gulch Trail to the Ridge Trail, and took the "Steep and Narrows" to the top of the pinnacles, then worked my way down to the Bear Gulch Cave.
Hiking in summer can be dangerous in this area, so please approach with caution and plenty of water. Pinnacles National Monument is truly spectacular and definitely worth a visit if you are in Central California.
Pinnacles National Monument is a volcanic formation that over millions of years split into two parts. Pinnacles is the north, and there is a lesser formation down in southern California. The wide variety of rock, and formations combined with the dry landscape of summer in California presented unparalled beauty and vastness.
The music chosen was by Phillip Glass from his film score Koyaanisqatsi. The movement featured in this presentation is Cloudscapes. Enjoy the beauty and scenery of the Pinnacles.
the rate of picture change is constant. why not pause longer on some shots? beautiful place though

i hike there often. It's too bad, in this movie, every shot only lasts 2 seconds before it moves on to the next.
