A ghastly accident on Bandra Worli Sealink (BWS) yesterday (Tuesday) morning claiming the life of two people. Breach Candy hospital accountant Maphur Rajamani Sitaram (40) and a 14 year old boy Ojas Mehta tragically succumbed to injuries.

Mehta (14) resident of Walkeshwar sitting in Skoda Fabia MH-02-BQ-6378 died on Tuesday night and the driver Brijesh Kumar Singh (33) was also gravely injured. Taxi driver Rajkumar Sharma (32) who was driving Sitaram to Worli got his right hand fracture.

The incident happened at around 8.20am on the link when Singh was driving from Worli towards Bandra to drop Ojas to Dhirubai Amabani School at BKC. The speeding car hit the Wagon R taxi going from Bandra to Worli at Breach Candy hospital.

Maphur Sitaram who died on the spot was an accountant assistant in Breach Candy hospital. He was coming from Andheri at his uncles place to go to hospital for work.
