@JayProductionsInc There are many Differences Between the Portuguese spoken in Portugal and the Portuguese spoken in Brazil. I think she meant Brazilian Portuguese, including the accentuation.

After I graduated high school I taught myself the Dvorak layout.
A bit confusing at first, but now it's all I can type!

@Nickjpost Great mate...keep at it...it can be frustrating at first, but in the long run it's well worth it.

@nzburger Currently I am teaching myself Dvorak and Shorthand :D I love alternative writing styles!!!!

Great video...I have been using the dvorak for about 2 years now...it took about 1 week to get productive, 2 weeks to get up to the same speed as the qwerty, and within about 2 months I was easily 1 and 1 half times faster. The only hassle I had was that I use a vim programming editor, and that took about a week of getting used to using it to remember where all the correct keys were...over a life time of typing, the investment in learning is totally worth it.

This is great a great video! I'm still in the learning phase now, but I really like it

Very informative video. I'm way too used to QWERTY to ever try any other layout. Maybe when I'm older and have nothing better to do I may give it a try. Ha, Ha. Hope you got a good grade for this in class, you earned it.

When I switched to dvorak ( before I got my daskeyboard <3 ) I could do it in about a day, just forced myself to code in dvorak and I learned it rather quickly. Of course that day my speed was no where near what I had with qwerty, but now I am fully used to dvorak and I type 150 words per minute ( peak 176 )

Was pretty good telling us your experience with how you were writing messed-up words because our brains don't even require us to look at our keyboards, I'd never thought of it that way :P Oh & the bit about British English is a load of malarkey I hardly think we'd need to re-arrange our keyboards to make it more efficient to spell the occasional odd word such as 'Metre' and 'Meter'? :L mad people complain over nothing
Thank you guys!
