@MIMI88998899 ya me too I was upset they let them sing in the movie but not on the soundtrack,, studio was scared to risk not having a hit with irene and lonetta so they told curtis no deal if areatha was not doing it

@SoulSir Yes, I agree - I saw your comment after I wrote mine and realized that in Marvin's song, he did the perscussion sound (I read) using an empty grapefruit juice bottle, so innovative. So, along with the cowbells (?) in the "Jump" tune - I see what you mean that these two masterpieces go "hand-in-hand !
