It's not a trance it's just a self-dicipline to act a certain way and refrain from doing what's considered immoral without any outside control. My great grandfather was the leader of "Zahabieh Daraawish" in Iran.My father says that he stayed up most of the night & prayed or communicated with the power above. He gave away nearly a 500mil dollars worth of property to charity and moved to Shiraz & stayed there till he died.I think the same way,money & power are worthless, humanity is everything.
