Neil Young -- Heart of Gold / White Line (RARE GEM)

Live from Austin, TX (Nov. 9, 1976). Neil Young segues out of Heart of Gold into a rare acoustic White Line. The song was released as an electric version on the album "Ragged Glory". This is one of the few acoustic versions of White Line performed live (begins 2:58). My favorite. Enjoy!

The best version of White Line

First time i,ve heard this ,its seamless in a weird way .Neil Young has done this before with A man needs a maid tailing heart of gold i think .I think the accoustic version of White line is better than the ragged glory electric version but there both great .I,ve always found it a little odd that White Line never gets mentioned when the likes of Uncut or Mjo etc every now and again do the top 100 drug related tunes .Must be my imagination running away with me

Both songs give me this warm feeling, and hearing them woven together is like a dream. Makes me smile all over. I love this man, always have always will.
