The underside of a smartdrive stator, this is an excellent cheap educational project for kids, Mums and Dads can learn a thing or two as well! Smartdrives are already in use as wind and hydro generators.
To power three lights WITHOUT a rectifier connect one phase to one side of each of each bulb and connect the neutral bridge to the other side of all three bulbs. Then spin the rotor. I recommend using 25 watt lightbulbs unless you are really strong.

  • sir i want to buy smartdrive from you how for a 5 smartdrive with the rectifier conneted coz i have a project we need to make a windmill generator pls help us and pls !!!!! tell me how much for a 6 unit ???? thank you you have a nice video sir ...

  • @panyolito1929 you could save yourself a lot of money by going to your local rubbish dump and finding a fisher & paykel, LG, or whirlpool washing machine. The rectifiers are available from any electronics shop for very cheap. Freight from NZ to the Phillipines would be ten times what a smartdrive is worth!

  • This is awsome. Thank you for sharing. it will be very helpfull.

  • @abeliscain happy to help mate, check the bulletins on my channel for clues on finding a smartdrive motor/generator in the US

  • Hello,I'm jack ....I really need a help in a very important situation . I need to buy a motor of this properties (AC Synchronous motor 3-phase {Permanent Magnet} PROTOTYPE)(That have this specifications power=1/6hp=1/8hp and speed range begins from 20 rpm to anything) Can anyone help me telling me about a place or a company that i can get it from it and how much is it? finally ,thank you

  • @beancube2008 And this is related to playing with a scrap washing machine how?

  • Cool project! If you run this for very long I'd suggest adding some heat sinking to the rectifiers so they don't burn up.

  • Have you seen this video? Tried to send you the link but it would not let me. Look for...
